Applications are invited for engagement as Senior Research Fellow on Contract basis for the project “Institutional Mechanism of Payment for Ecosystem Services in Watershed Area under Navnera Barrage in Kota”
1. Name of Position: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
2. No. of position: 02 (Two)
3. Period of engagement: 06 months.
4. Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- per month + HRA TA/DA will be provided as per norms during the fieldwork. No other allowances are admissible.
5. Qualification and Experience:
(a) Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate degree in Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Forestry, Environment Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management or Management Two years of research experience
(b) Desirable Qualifications:
a. Experience with GIS software (ArcGis or QGIS)
b. Experience with conducting social surveys, participatory rural appraisals and focus group discussions in rural areas
c. Ability to conduct field work in challenging situations.
6. Key Responsibilities:
a. Research co-ordination, planning and management
b. Travel to field sites for data collection and interaction with stakeholders
c. Planning and execution of field work in Rajasthan
d. Data analysis and interpretation
e. Collaborative research work with other team members

The Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM) was established in 1982. It is an autonomous, public institute of sectoral management located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It was established by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India and course assistance from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
