Applications are invited for the post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) under the Science & Engineering Board (SERB), Government of India, sponsored project entitled "Extraction, Organization and Query of Scholarly Information".

1. Position: Junior Research Fellow
2. Eligibility: BE/B. Tech or ME/M.Tech. in Computer Science& Engineering/lnformation Technology or equivalent with minimum of 60% marks throughout (as per 0M No. SB/S9/Z-01/2015, Govt. of India). GATE score is preferable.
3. Fellowship: For first two years, Rs 38,440 per Month (Basic ofRs. 31 OOO+HRA) inclusive all and for 3rd year Rs. 43,400 (Basic of Rs. 35000+ HRA) inclusive all
4. Principal Investigators: Dr. Imon Mukherjee, CSE, 111T Kalyani
5. Tenure of the fellowship: 3 Years
6. Registration for Ph.D.: Selected candidate is expected to register for full time Ph.D. program at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kalyani as per Institute norms.

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani has been set up with the objective to produce best-in-class human resources in IT and to harness the multidimensional facets of IT in various domains. IIIT Kalyani strives to evolve into a world-class academic institution with the highest quality of education and research facilities and produce industry-ready IT graduates to meet industry demands. The institute will act as a catalyst in fostering an innovative entrepreneur-focused ecosystem to ensure that new products, solutions, and IP are created in the State taking advantage of the intellectual capital of the State.
IIIT Kalyani has been set up at Kalyani, West Bengal by the Government of India (Ministry of Education), the Government of West Bengal, and industry partners on a Not-for-profit Public Private Partnership (N-PPP) basis, being funded in the ratio of 50:35:15 respectively by the above three parties. Additionally, the Government of West Bengal has lent support to the institute by granting 50 acres of land for setting up the Campus. The industry partners of IIIT Kalyani are Coal India Ltd. and Rolta Foundation for the present.
The institute is run by the Board of Governors of IIIT Kalyani whose members include the representatives of the Government of India (MHRD), the Government of West Bengal, industry partners, and eminent people from academia, industry, and civil society.
