Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF)

• Essential Qualification: Candidates with a Ph.D. Degree or equivalent can apply within three years of completion of Ph.D. in the specified disciplines; three years will be counted from the date of thesis or dissertation defence. Applicants must have a consistently good academic record and demonstrated research potential.
• Category: Applicants must be from the reserved categories, only from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST).
• Age Limit: The candidate should be below 34 years.

Salary / Stipend

• Fellowship amount is Rs. 80,000 to 90,000 per month consolidated.
• Grant of two reputed national conferences in total two years is available, limited to Rs. 50,000 each, subject to approval.
• No additional benefits or perquisites will be provided.

Selection Process

Selection of Post-Doctoral Fellows will be made through an interview of the short-listed candidates.
