Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali, a regional center for Vigyan Pratibha Project of HBCSE-TIFR Mumbai, invites applications for two (02) project staff positions; a) 01 post of Scientific Assistant B b) 01 post of Scientific Officer D

3. Job Description: The candidates are expected a) to assist in the creation and distribution of educational materials under vigyan pratibha project; b) to assist in the organization of teachers training workshops at IISER Mohali; c) to visit schools across the region (Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh) in order to help teachers in the implementation of the project in the schools; d) to attend resource generation camps for Vigyan Pratibha at HBCSE-TIFR Mumbai.

4. Minimum Qualification:

a) Scientific Assistant B (SA-B): Master in Science/ Mathematics with 60% marks

b) Scientific Officer D (SO-D): Full-time PhD in science + 3 Years of Experience

5. Desirable: Keen interest in science education and outreach activities. Experience in teaching/ scientific writing/ development activities. Competence in explaining and communicating school-level science and mathematics. Proficiency in one of the regional languages (Punjabi, Hindi) along with English

6. Salary: INR 35,400/- + HRA (SA-B); INR 67,700/- + HRA (SO-D)
