Eligibility Criteria for Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

  • Essential: 1st class B.Tech in Civil Engineering and 1st class M.Tech in Hydrology / Water Resources / Hydraulics with a minimum of 2 years of experience and NET/GATE qualification.
  • Experience: Hands-on experience with at least two hydrologic & hydraulic models (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, MIKE, etc.), strong understanding of hydrology/hydrodynamics, and working knowledge of GIS.
  • Desirable: Candidates with CGPA > 8.000 (80% aggregate) from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) may get relaxation in NET/GATE requirement.
