Educational Qualification & Experience:

  • Principal Project Scientist (1 Post): Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate discipline. Minimum 3 to 5 years of Hands-on Experience in Cryo-EM and Data Analysis. Strong understanding of Sample Preparation, vitrification, Microscope Alignment and Imaging, and image processing software. Ability to train users and manage shared facilities.
  • Senior Project Scientist (1 Post): M.Tech. with first class or equivalent in a relevant discipline OR M.Sc. with first class or equivalent and over three years of experience. Mandatory hands-on experience in optical spectroscopy, including lifetime measurements, subdiffraction limit optical microscopy, and photoluminescence spectroscopy instrument operations.
  • Project Assistant (Tech.) (2 Posts): Diploma (03 years duration) or Graduate degree in appropriate discipline with 02 years relevant work experience in the relevant field OR ITI (2 years duration) in relevant field with 8 years relevant work experience. Experience in SEM, optical and confocal microscopy, Super resolution Fluorescent Microscopy, etc. is must.

Salary (Consolidated Pay with HRA @27%):



  • Principal Project Scientist: ₹75,600 - 77,870 - 80,210 - 82,620 - 85,100 - 87,650 - 90,280 - 92,900 - 95,780 - 98,650 - 1,01,610 per month + HRA @ 27%.
  • Senior Project Scientist: ₹60,750 - 62,570 - 64,450 - 66,380 - 68,370 - 70,420 - 72,530 - 74,710 - 76,950 - 79,260 per month + HRA @ 27%.
  • Project Assistant (Tech.): ₹39,420 - 40,600 - 41,820 - 43,070 - 44,360 - 45,690 - 47,060 - 48,470 - 49,920 - 51,420 per month + HRA @ 27%.
