Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Project Research Scientist

• Essential: PhD in the discipline of Physics/ Nanoscience and Nanotechnology/ Biotechnology and Bioscience/ Bio-medical Engineering/ Photonics.
• Desirable: The applicant must have worked on and published papers in the fields of photonic/ plasmonic/ nanostructured sensors/biosensors/ SERS, machine learning, etc. in his/her PhD degree.
• Skills: Candidates who have working knowledge of both theory and experiments in the aforementioned field will be given preference.
• Condition: Candidates who have recently submitted their thesis are also eligible to apply subject to the condition that they will furnish the proof of the award of Ph.D. degree at the time of interview.

Salary / Stipend

Rs. 56,000 per month (+ HRA, as per rules).

• Walk-in interview will be held online on 11/02/2026 from 2:30 PM onwards using WebEX platform.
• Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
