IISER Thiruvananthapuram Invites Application for JRF Recruitment 2022

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country.

The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

1. Name of Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

2. Name of Project: Photochemical and Electrochemical Processes in Assembled Molecules and Nanomaterials: Implications of Field and Coherence in Photovoltaics

3. Funding agency: DST Nanomission

4. Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the funding agency) : Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:

a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE

b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by the Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

5. Preference: Candidates with work experience in theoretical chemistry

6. Number of posts: One

7. Fellowship amount: Rs. 31000+HRA as applicable

8. Tenure of the post: One year, extendable based on performance

Selection Procedure

1. The shortlisted candidates will be informed about the details of interview date and time by email. Applicants must bring all certificates (original + one copy) at the time of joining for the purpose of verification and a photocopy of the same is to be submitted.

2. Selected candidates will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer.

3. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.
