IISER Thiruvananthapuram Invites Application for Senior Project Associate Recruitment 2022

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. The Institute invites applications for the following position on contract basis:

IISER/RDC/A-002

1. Name of Post: Senior Project Associate

2. Name of Project: ‘DST-Storage MAP’ on “Automation and AI/ML-Assisted Development of Solid State Battery Technology”

3. Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the funding agency): Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology AND 4 years’ experience in research and development in industrial/academic institutions/ science & technology organizations OR Doctoral Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology/from recognized University or equivalent

4. Preference:

i. Working experience in the area of rechargeable batteries

ii. Publications in international peer-reviewed journals.

5. Number of posts: 01

6. Fellowship amount: Rs. 42,000.00 + HRA

7. Tenure of the post: 1 Year, extendable based on performance

Selection Procedure

1. The shortlisted candidates will be informed by email on details of interview date, time and venue and it will also be put up on the website www.iisertvm.ac.in.

2. A printed copy of the application form sent by email signed and dated by the applicant along with recent passport size photograph and photocopies of relevant certificates and other testimonials in support of age, qualification, experience etc. will be collected at the time of interview.

3. Applicants must bring all certificates (original + one copy) at the time of interview for the purpose of verification.
