IISER Thiruvananthapuram Research Project Recruitment 2025
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER-TVM) has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Senior Research Fellow on a contract basis. This opportunity is part of a project funded by the Directorate of Environment & Climate Change (DoECC), Government of Kerala. Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
- Essential: Masters in Atmospheric Science / Meteorology / Climate Science / Physics or equivalent AND Qualified in National Level Examinations like CSIR-UGC-NET, GATE or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum two years of research experience after Masters degree.
- Desirable: Proficiency in Atmospheric Modeling, Climate Downscaling, Climate Data Analysis; Experience in Fortran/R/Python Coding and working with gridded meteorological datasets.
Salary/Stipend
₹35,000/- per month (As per KSCSte).
Important Dates

- Tenure: One year (with possibility of extension based on performance)
Selection Process
Selection will be based on shortlisting of applications followed by an interview. Shortlisting is done by the Selection Committee based on qualifications and experience. Information regarding interviews will be sent by email to short-listed candidates. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
