Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Project Attendant (2 posts): Graduate Degree in Sciences with experience in water quality sampling and testing including application of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) system (1 post) OR Graduate Degree in Fine Arts / Design / Architecture with proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, CAD, Photoshop, InDesign, CorelDraw, Illustrator, etc. (1 post).
• Project Assistant (2 posts): Graduation in Science or Engineering fields OR 3-year Diploma in Engineering & Technology with knowledge related to water quality sampling and testing including application of NbS system.
• Junior Research Fellow – JRF (1 post): Master's Degree in Science or Engineering in Hydraulics, River Engineering, Water Resources, or Geoinformatics, with qualification in GATE / NET or any equivalent national-level examination.
• Research Associate-I (2 posts): Ph.D. or equivalent degree, or 3 years of research and teaching experience after M.Sc. / M.Tech. with at least one paper published in an SCI Journal. Specialization in design and implementation of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for treating wastewater and Hydrological / Hydrogeological Modelling is required.
• Senior Project Scientist – Professional Grade-I (1 post): Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Water Resources, or any relevant discipline with 6–8 years of research or teaching experience.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection process at IIT (BHU) Varanasi for these SLCR project positions involves the following stages:
