Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of JRF/Project Assistant in a SERB funded research project with the following details:
1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow/ Project Assistant
2. No of Post: 01
3. Title of the Project: Variational methods for nonlocal problems with lack of compactness
4. Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. (Mathematics) from a recognized institute/university or statutory body
5. Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having CSIR/ UGC JRF-NET/ GATE and working experience relevant to the project.
6. Salary:
(i) Rs. 31,000 per month + 16% HRA to applicants who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. OR
(ii) Rs. 25,000 - 28000 per month (for others who do not fall under (i) above).
7. Duration: Initially for 1 years and can be extended for 1 more year or up to the termination of the project subject to satisfactory annual progress review.

Selection Procedure
If the number of shortlisted candidates called for the interview is large, the selection committee may decide to restrict the number of candidates for the interview to a reasonable limit after considering qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhilai was established in the state of Chhattisgarh by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development in the year 2016.
IIT Bhilai is presently housed in its transit campus at Government Engineering College (GEC) Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
IIT Bhilai offers Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Science (MSc), and Doctoral programs (Ph.D.) in various departments. The Institute made its modest start with the introduction of the BTech program in August 2016. The Institute is currently offering BTech and MTech programs in the departments of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DSAI), Mechatronics and Electric Vehicle Technology (EVT, MTech); and Ph.D. program in the departments of Chemistry (CHM), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Mathematics (MTH), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Physics (PHY) and Liberal Arts (LA).
IIT Bhilai has established a 3-D Printing Lab that constitutes an integral part of the 3-D Modeling and Design course, a fabrication lab, an electrical lab, a computer lab, and a library in a short duration.
