Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the School of Mechanical Sciences of this Institute. 1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow(JRF) — 1 post 2. Project Name: "Development of in-reflection fiber based interferometer for residual stress measurement" 3. Salary: 31,000 per month 4. Qualification: a. B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing/ Production and Industrial Engg., 65% or 7.00 CGPA with two years of experience with valid GATE score (or) B.E/ Engineering, Manufacturing/ B.Tech Mechanical Production and Industrial Engg., with 65% or 7.00 CGPA and b. M. Tech in Mechanical System Design/ Machine Design/ Manufacturing/ Production and Industrial Engg. with or 7.50 CGPA and valid GATE score. Computer proficiency requirement: SolidWorks, Ansys, C/MATLAB programming, Microcontroller programming and MS Office. 5. Job Description Capable of working with solid modeling and software like Matlab, Ansys, Solidworks etc. Ability to perform literature review and capable of developing new innovative designs for material testing. Selection Procedure
Selection to the will be done through online interaction only from among the shortlisted candidates. There is no need to send hard copy of the application. The permanent campus of IIT Bhubaneswar is spreading over 936 Acres of land. It is situated at the foot of Barunei Hill, which is famous for its rich history. The campus provides a unique serene and pollution free academic environment. IIT Bhubaneswar has Academic area, Residential area and area for Training centres and Research Park. Although IIT Bhubaneswar had started functioning from two transit campuses in the Bhubaneswar city during its inception period, majority of residential and academic activities have now started in the permanent campus at Argul.
