Business Manager and Project Assistant
The IIT Bhubaneswar Research and Entrepreneurship Park is inviting applications for the positions of Business Manager and Project Assistant on a contractual basis under the DAY-NRLM Incubator Programme in collaboration with the Odisha Livelihoods Mission (OLM). The initial engagement is for 12 months, extendable annually up to a total of 3 years based on performance.

Educational Qualification:
- Business Manager (4 Posts): Post-Graduation in Business Management, Development Studies, Rural Management, Accounts, Economics, or related fields; OR a professional degree such as CA, ICWA. Minimum three (3) years of experience in enterprise promotion/management in production, sales, or procurement. Preference for sales experience and candidates from premier institutes (IRMA, IIMs, IITs, NITs).
- Project Assistant (2 Posts): Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, internet) preferred. Prior experience in office administration/support functions is an added advantage.
Experience:For Business Manager: Minimum 3 years in enterprise promotion/management. For Project Assistant: Prior administrative experience is desirable.
Skills:Business management, enterprise mentoring, sales, procurement, office administration, MS Office proficiency.

Salary & Compensation:
- Business Manager: ₹50,000 per month (consolidated) + TA/DA on actual basis + Performance-Linked Incentive up to 40% of Gross Annual Salary.
- Project Assistant: ₹25,000 per month (consolidated) + TA/DA on actual basis + Performance-Linked Incentive up to 40% of Gross Annual Salary.
Tenure: Initial appointment for 12 months, extendable annually based on satisfactory performance and KPI achievement, up to a total engagement period of 3 years.

- Field Travel: Business Managers must be willing to travel extensively within the state to provide mentoring support to enterprises.

Although IIT Bhubaneswar had started functioning from two transit campuses in the Bhubaneswar city during its inception period, majority of residential and academic activities have now started in the permanent campus at Argul.
