Applications are invited for the position of JRF under the Project titled “Limitations to information processing in Eukaryotic Cells”, in the School of Physical Sciences, IIT Goa. The project is sponsored by Science and Engineering Research Board under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. No. DoRD/ADMIN/2021-22/032 1. Nature of work: Theoretical research work related to the project in understanding cellular signaling. 2. No. of Position: 01 3. Post Name: Junior Research fellow 4. Duration of appointment: Initially for a period of 1 year. Appointment may be extended for a further one year based on the performance. 5. Eligibility: Essential qualification: M.Sc. in Physics - Two years of research experience working on applying ideas in theoretical physics to biological systems in a research/educational institute. Desirable: - A good knowledge of computer programming 6. Salary: Rs.31,000/- P.M.

The new Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) at Goa has started functioning from July 2016 in a temporary campus housed at Goa Engineering College (GEC) Campus located at Farmagudi, Goa. It offers B.Tech courses in three core branches namely Electrical, Computer Science and Mechanical.
