Skills / Eligibility
Applications are invited from high caliber, enthusiastic and research-oriented students for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST funded research project titled “Graphene quantum dots for hydrogen storage”. 1. Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) 2. Essential Qualification for JRF: (i) BE/BTech Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering. (ii) MTech/ME Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Solid Mechanics or Applied Mechanics or Design or Nanotechnology or Nanoscience AND GATE qualification. 3. Essential Qualification for SRF: (i) MTech/ME Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Solid Mechanics or Applied Mechanics or Design or Nanotechnology or Nanoscience AND GATE qualification. (ii) Two years research experience after MTech/ME. 4. Desirables: Candidate having exposure to molecular and first principle modeling of solid nanomaterials as well as simulation works on boron- and carbon-based nanostructures are encouraged to apply. 5. Monthly Stipend: Rs. 31,000 per month for JRF & Rs. 35,000 per month for SRF. HRA as per rules. 6. Duration: Initial appointment for six months and extendable based on availability of funding.

Selection Procedure

CV should include complete information such as academic grades/percentage starting from Xth standard onwards with the details of year of passing, university or college, GATE score with year, discipline, marks, All India Rank, number of candidates appeared, contact details and a valid email id. Kindly mention the work experience in detail of related field. Incomplete applications will be rejected
