Educational Qualification: M.E/M.Tech
Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the research project sponsored by the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) division of AICTE, Ministry of Education, Government of India
1. Position: Junior Research Fellow
2. Number of posts: 01 (One)
3. Title of the project: Investigation of traditional iron monuments in central India and understanding of their metallurgical origins
4. Essential education qualifications:
M. Tech. / ME in Metallurgical and Materials Science Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Materials Engineering/ Production Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering with GATE qualification in any of the mentioned subject areas. Students currently pursuing their Masters degree and completing in the Academic year 2022 are also encouraged to apply.
5. Desirable qualifications:
Experience in some of the following areas: Mechanical testing, Metallography practices, Heat treatment, Familiarity with the microstructure characterization, Nondestructive testing practices, Finite element analysis, Tribology, and Wear
6. Salary/Fellowship: 31,000 INR + HRA (If hostel accommodation is not provided)
7. Duration: The appointment will be initially for a period of one year and based on satisfactory performance, the appointment can be extended up to one more year.
