Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- M.Tech. / ME in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Nanoscience and Engineering, Nanotechnology, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent — with first division as defined by the awarding Institute/University; OR
- Post Graduate degree in Physics / Chemistry / Materials Science with first division as defined by the awarding Institute/University;
- Candidates must hold a Valid NET / GATE Certificate in a relevant discipline.
- Age Limit: Candidates should preferably be 29 years of age.
- SC / ST candidates: 5 years relaxation
- OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation
- Preferred Candidates: Candidates completing their M.Tech. in the current academic year are also encouraged to apply.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Application Screening: Applications (Bio-data, SOP, qualification copies) will be screened by the Principal Investigator. Mere possession of minimum qualifications does not guarantee an invitation to the interview.
- Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview date by email.
- Interview: The interview will be conducted via Google Meet. A Google Meet link will be shared only with shortlisted candidates before the interview date.
- Final Selection: Based on academic performance, NET/GATE score, statement of purpose, and performance in the interview.
- TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the interview.
Selected candidates will be encouraged to join the Ph.D. program at IIT Indore.
