Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
One of the following combinations is required:
- B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline with 5 years of relevant experience in server administration.
- M.Tech./M.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline with 3 years of relevant experience in server administration.
- MCA with 5 years of relevant experience in server administration.
Minimum hands-on experience must include:
- Server setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux servers in a production environment.
- User management, security settings, and system hardening.
- Administration of virtualized environments (VMware, XCP-ng/XOA, KVM, Hyper-V).
- Backup creation, restoration, and disaster-recovery planning.
- Firewall management, network protocols, and enterprise security best practices.
Desirable (not mandatory):
- RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) or equivalent Linux administration certification.
- MCSE or relevant Windows Server certification.
- Experience with HPC server administration and data-centre activities.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Shortlisting of Applications: Applications received by the outsourcing agency will be screened against eligibility criteria.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview to assess domain knowledge and experience.
- Technical Skill Test: Selected candidates will undergo a practical/technical skill test to verify hands-on competence in system administration.
No Travelling Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid for attending the interview or skill test.
