Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship - Research

  • Essential Qualification: B.Tech. (or equivalent) with valid GATE (or equivalent) score OR M.Tech. (or equivalent) with GATE qualification in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering. Academic Performance: 60% (or CGPA 6.5) and above from Matriculation onward.
  • Selection Criteria: Preference given to scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship/Assistant Professorship and GATE) or National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER).
  • Desirable Experience: Prior experience in Analog Integrated Circuit Design and/or Power Management Integrated Circuit Design.
  • Nationality: Indian citizens.
  • Age Limit: Upper age limit is 28 years. Age relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped/Female applicants. Age calculated as on 23 December 2025.
