Project Research Associate

• Pathway A: M.Tech / ME / MDes / MD or an equivalent postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Pathway B: B.Tech / BE / MBBS / MA / M.Sc / MCA / MBA or equivalent degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience in post-quantum cryptography, edge computing, or related fields.
• Pathway C: B.Sc. / B.A. / B.Com or equivalent degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Desirable: Research experience in Cryptography is preferred and will carry weightage during screening and interview.
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 19 October 2026. Age relaxation applies as per sponsor agency rules, if any.
• Tenure: 24 months or until the termination of the research project, whichever is earlier.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection for the Project Research Associate post at IIT Kharagpur will be based on screening of applications followed by a personal interview / interaction with the Selection Committee.
