Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), AOD Digboi Refinery has released Advertisement No. AOD-DR/TA-2026-27 dated 07.07.2026 inviting online applications for engagement of 126 Trade and Technician Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973. Eligible candidates with the required qualification in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Secretarial, Accounts and Data Entry Operator streams can apply through the NAPS/NATS portal from 08.07.2026 to 31.07.2026.

Educational Qualification:
Qualification varies by trade code (101 to 111). Generally requires a 3-year B.Sc, Matric with ITI, 3-year Diploma, B.Com, or Class XII pass, depending on the specific trade. Minimum 50% aggregate marks required (45% for SC/ST/PwBD). Distance/correspondence qualifications are not eligible. Higher qualifications like BE/B.Tech, MBA, etc. are not eligible. Experience:Not required. Candidates with 1 year or more of relevant job experience after acquiring the qualification are not eligible.

Salary:




Stipend as per the rates prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and Apprentices Rules, 1992.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 24 Years as on 30.06.2026. Age relaxation: SC/ST - 5 years, OBC (NCL) - 3 years, PwBD - 10 years (additional for reserved categories).

Selection Procedure:
Merit list based on percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (No written test).

Pre-engagement Medical Fitness Examination.
