Educational Qualification: Candidate should be Graduate Degree in General Streams such as B.Sc/ B.Com/ BA from a recognized university. A candidate is not eligible to undergo apprenticeship training if the gap is more than two years.

Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 14 years and there is no upper age limit.

Indian Ordnance Factories service is a multidisciplinary composite cadre which consists of technical - engineers and non technical/ administrative staff. It was established in the year 1954. The recruitment in the Indian Ordnance Factories is done by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Engineering Services Examination (ESE) and the Civil Services Examination (CSE).
