Educational Qualification: Graduation in Biomedical Engineering/Clinical Engineering OR Master's in Pharmacy specialized in Pharmacy Practice/Pharmacology/Medical Devices. Well-versed knowledge of computer applications. Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in Pharmacovigilance.

The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. It was established in the year 1945 with the aim of setting standards for all drugs that are manufactured, sold and consumed in India.
The IPC is responsible for publishing the Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP), which is the official book of standards for drugs included in the Indian Pharmacopoeia. The IP is updated regularly to ensure that the standards for drugs are up-to-date and in line with the latest scientific developments.
In addition to setting standards for drugs, the IPC also undertakes research and development activities in the field of drug standards, provides training and support to drug analysts and regulators, and collaborates with national and international organizations to promote the quality of drugs.
The IPC is committed to ensuring the safety, efficacy and quality of drugs in India and plays a key role in protecting public health.
