Sub: Filling up the post of Controller in National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), Department of Space, ISRO, Hyderabad in Level 13 of Pay Matrix (7th CPC) on Deputation basis - regarding.
1. Name of the Post: Controller
2. Level in the Pay Matrix (7th CPC): Level 13 in the Pay Matrix (7th CPC)
3. Eligibility: Suitable Officers from All India Services or Central Services Group 'A' holding analogous posts on regular basis or 14 years regular service in Group A post.
4. Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized Indian University / Institution.
5. Experience: Experience required is in the areas of Personnel Management, General Administration, Finance, Procurement & Inventory Management in a Government / Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings.
6. Period of Deputation: The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organisation / Department of the Central Government shall not exceed 5 years.
7. Cooling off period: There shall be mandatory cooling off period of 3 years after every period of deputation / foreign service upto Joint Secretary level posts and one year for Additional Secretary level posts.

Selection will be Based on Deputatiion Basis.
1. All Ministries / Departments / Cadre Authorities and the State Governments / UTS are requested to forward the applications of willing and eligible Officers in the prescribed proforma to Shri M Ramadas, Officer on Special Duty (Personnel) Government of India, Department of Space, Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore- 560 094 so as to reach latest by 29/04/2022. Applications not accompanied with the required certificates / documents stated in para 3 above will not be entertained.
2. Applications of only such Officers will be considered as are routed through proper channel and are accompanied with
(i) bio-data in the proforma;
(ii) ACR/APAR dossier of the Officer containing upto date APARs or clear photocopies of ACR/APAR for at least last five years duly self attested;
(iii) cadre clearance;
(iv) clearance from vigilance and disciplinary angle;
(v) statement giving details of major or minor penalties, if any, imposed on the officer during the last ten years;
(vi) a certificate that in the event of selection, the Officer would be relieved to join the duties of the post; and
(vii) certificate of Head of Office/Forwarding Authority.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the space agency of India. The organisation is involved in science, engineering and technology to harvest the benefits of outer space for India and the mankind. ISRO is a major constituent of the Department of Space (DOS), Government of India. The department executes the Indian Space Programme primarily through various Centres or units within ISRO.
ISRO was previously the Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR), set up by the Government of India in 1962, as envisioned by Dr. VikramA Sarabhai. ISRO was formed on August 15, 1969 and superseded INCOSPAR with an expanded role to harness space technology. DOS was set up and ISRO was brought under DOS in 1972.
The prime objective of ISRO/DOS is the development and application of space technology for various national needs. To fulfil this objective, ISRO has established major space systemsfor communication, television broadcasting and meteorological services; resources monitoring and management; space-based navigation services. ISRO has developed satellite launch vehicles, PSLV and GSLV, to place the satellites in the required orbits.
