Walk-in-interviews will be conducted at 11:00 am on 22 April 2022 (Friday) in the Advanced Computing & Microelectronics Unit (5th Floor of PJA Building) of the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata for Recruitment of one (01) Project linked person full time basis and one (01) Project Consultant part time basis purely on temporary basis under the SERB sponsored IMPRINT-II project titled "Unified Software Defined Architecture for Industrial Internet-of-Things" in the Advanced Computing & Microelectronics nit of the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata with preventive measures not to spread COVID-19 global pandemic as directed by the Government of India.

1. Position: 

a) Project Consultant part time basis

b) Project linked person full time basis

2. No of Post: 

a) Project Consultant part time basis - 01

b) Project linked person full time basis - 01

3. Essential: M.E./ M.Tech. or equivalent degrees in Computer Science and Engineering. Information Technology/ Electronics Engineering.

4. Desirable: Skill om Programming. Algorithms, Data Structures, Embedded Systems; Those having experience on Sensor Networks, Mobile Networks, IoT, will be given preference. For the consultant position, prior experience in Industrial Internet-of Things (IoT), and microprocessor based fault-tolerant systems would be preferable.

5. Pay (for both positions): A consolidated pay ranging between Rs.30000/- (Rupees thirty thousand only) to Rs.35000/ (Rupees thirty five thousand only) per month depending on the qualification and experience of the selected candidate.

6. Tenure of appointment (for both positions): The appointment is initially upto 26 September 2022 from the date of joining in the Institute, which may be extended later/ terminated earlier based on the performance, and availability of the required funds for the corresponding project.
