IGNOU Invites Application for 2 Consultant Recruitment 2021

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for two posts (Full-Time, Contractual) of Consultant in the Discipline of Public Administration in the School of Social Sciences (SOSS), Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068.

i. The position is initially for a period of six months, extendable further as per the requirement of the University. Remuneration and education qualifications for the post are given below:

3. Consolidated Pay (Rs.): Rs.40,000 to Rs. 60,000

4. Educational Qualification and Experience:

i. Ph.D in Public Administration

ii. Master’s Degree in Public Administration with minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC without creamy layer/differently-abled), preferably with relevant experience in disaster management

iii. Teaching /Research experience of minimum five years in course development in Open University system.

5. Job Profile:

i. The nature of work would involve activities pertaining to development of academic programmes in Public Administration discipline offered by the University.

ii. The job would entail writing, vetting and editing of course material (both in English and Hindi) and assisting the Faculty in day to day activities relating to course development and preparation of audio and video programmes (both in English and Hindi).

iii. The nature of work would also involve preparation and conduct of online courses including assistance to faculty with power point presentations, content/script writing, preparation of online assignments, interactive radio counseling, teleconferencing etc.

Selection Procedure

1. Only short-listed candidates will be invited for interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

2. Interview date shall be intimated later.
