Indira Gandhi University (IGU) Invites Application for Teacher Recruitment 2026

Candidates who wish to attend the walk-in-interview for Indira Gandhi University Teachers on Lecture Basis Recruitment 2026 should follow the steps below.

1. Read the Notification: Read the official notification and the schedule carefully.
2. Prepare Documents: Bring a copy of your CV/Resume/Bio-Data with a latest photograph.
3. Self-Attested Copies: Carry self-attested copies of all academic and professional testimonials (educational certificates, experience certificates, etc.).
4. Original Documents: Bring all original documents for verification at the time of the interview.
5. Report on Time: Candidates must reach the venue one hour before the scheduled interview time for their respective department.

Venue: Board Room, Sardar Patel Bhawan, Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur, Rewari.

Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

• Walk-in Only: This is a walk-in-interview. Candidates must appear in person at the specified venue on the scheduled date and time for their department.
• Punctuality: Candidates must reach the venue one hour before the scheduled interview time. Latecomers may not be entertained.
• Documents: Bring a detailed CV/Resume/Bio-Data with a photograph, along with self-attested copies and original documents for verification.
• Eligibility: Ensure you meet the educational qualifications and age criteria as per UGC/Haryana Government norms for the concerned subject/discipline.
• Engagement: The engagement is for teaching in the Odd Semester (for 03 months or conclusion of classes or till regular appointment, whichever is earlier). It is based on actual workload available.
• No Guarantee: Conducting an interview in a department does not guarantee engagement. The interview is to draw a panel of teachers.
• Reserved Posts: Please note that two posts (02) in the Department of Social Work and one post (01) in the Department of Psychology shall remain vacant due to pending court cases.
• No TA/DA: No travelling or other allowances will be paid for attending the interview.
