Educational Qualification:
(i) Ph.D. Degree.
(ii) Professor/Associate Professor with a total service/ experience of at least fifteen years of teaching/research in universities, Colleges, and other institutions of higher education.
(iii) A minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC -listed journals.
(iv) A minimum of 110 Research Score as per Annexure V.

Indraprastha College for Women was founded in 1924, and is the oldest college for women in Delhi. It was opened as a part of the nation-wide campaign for women's education and empowerment.
In 1952, Indraprastha College hostel was established which presently houses two hundred students, and in 2009, another hostel to accommodate two hundred was added.
Indraprastha College offers Graduate and Post Graduate courses.
