The selected candidate will report to Dr. Jaspreet Kaur Dhanjal, Assistant Professor, Department of Computational Biology, IIIT-Delhi.
Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Essential Qualifications (candidates must satisfy any one of the following pathways):
- Pathway 1: Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees, with five years of post-qualification experience.
- Pathway 2: Ph.D. with two years of post-qualification experience.
- Pathway 3 (Engineering/IT/Computer Science): Four-year Graduate Degree in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science with five years of post-qualification experience.
- Pathway 4 (Engineering/IT/Computer Science): Post Graduate Degree in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science with three years of post-qualification experience.
- Pathway 5 (Engineering/IT/Computer Science): Ph.D. in relevant field.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Strong background in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in Python/R, statistical analysis, machine learning/deep learning, and biological or clinical data analysis.
- Experience working with large-scale biomedical, genomic, clinical, or other healthcare-related datasets.
- Demonstrated research experience through publications, research projects, software/tools, patents, or other relevant outputs.
- Experience in interdisciplinary or multi-institutional research projects involving clinicians, hospitals, or industry.
- Strong scientific writing, communication, coordination, and project-management skills.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection process involves the following stages:
