The Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), established by the Reserve Bank of India, is the premier Institute of Banking and Financial Technology in the country. The Institute spearheads efforts in providing state-of-the-art technologies for the Indian Banking and Financial Sector by interfacing Applied Research and Development, Academics, Executive Education, Practice and Consultancy so as to continuously enable the technology transformation of the Banking and Financial Sector in India and make it future-ready.

2. No of Post: 02

3. Primary Responsibilities:

a) Front-end with OEM, ISP and SIs on Multi-access Edge Compute (MEC), 5G Network Slicing, etc., to design multiple deployment alternatives

b) Coordinate the technical aspects for network slicing/SDN/MEC setup

c) Deploy and troubleshoot the experimental infrastructure as required

d) Create processes and tools for the effective collection and dissemination of data

e) Analyse the existing solutions/information to prepare reports/make presentations

f) Guide team to develop tools and utilities on 5G and beyond networks

g) Responding to queries, conducting surveys, documentation, and sharing information, to ensure proper communication

h) Organising meetings and ensuring follow up where required

i) Ensure processes are followed and activities are completed on time

j) To carry out any other responsibilities assigned by the Institute.

4. Eligibility: Educational Qualifications First class regular B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. (CSE/IT/ECE)/MCA or above from a recognised University with a consistently good academic record throughout.

5. Experience A minimum of five years post-qualification experience for B.Tech and three years for M.Tech in:

a) Networking Technologies Active involvement in Open-source Projects / Communities

b) Experience of DevOps CI/CD/CT tools for Micro-services based deployments

c) Hands-on experience with cloud and related technologies

6. Desired Skills

a)Openstack, Kubernetes, Micro-services, OpenFlow, SDN, SDR, Open daylight controller, ONAP / OSM / MAGMA

b) Hands-on scripting in Shell, Python and Networking related languages

c) Practical experience of Wireless Network / Wireless LAN / Mobile Communication / IoT set up

d) Full-stack exposure for dashboards, etc.

7. Term: One year. Extendable based on the duration of the project, project requirements, performance of the candidate and fund availability.

8. Compensation: All-inclusive consolidated compensation of up to Rs Two lakh per month.
