Educational Qualification: Professor: (i) An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in Economics or Finance and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research and policy with evidence of published work, with a minimum of 10 very good research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in Appendix-II, Table 2 (enclosed). (ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor and/or research experience at an equivalent level at University/ National Level Institutions with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates. Assistant Professor: (i) Ph.D. degree in Economics or Finance. (ii) Demonstrable track record of research and policy analysis in the areas of Information and Communication Technology, Information Economics, Industrial Organisation, Productivity, Government Policy & Regulation, Service Sector Growth and other related fields. (iii) At least 2 very good publications in peer reviewed economics/finance journals.(iv) A minimum of 3 years of experience after Ph.D. Deserving Candidates may be considered for level 11.

Pay Scale: INR 57700 - 218200(Per Month)
Age Limit: 30 to 35 years.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based on written test/personal interview/medical test/walkin interview. Once a candidate is selected they will be placed as Professor, Assistant Professor in IEG.
