Educational Qualification:
(i) Ph.D. degree in Economics/Agriculture Economics/Applied Economics.
(ii) Demonstrable track record of research and policy analysis in the areas of agriculture.
(iii) A minimum of 3 years of experience after Ph.D. Exceptional candidates with less than 3 years of experience will also be considered.
(iv) At least 2 very good publications in peer-reviewed economics/agriculture economics journals.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected based on a written test/personal interview/medical test/walkin interview. Once a candidate is selected they will be placed as Assistant Professor in IEG.

The Institute of Economic Growth (IEG) is an autonomous, multidisciplinary Centre for advanced research and training. Widely recognized as a Centre of excellence, it is one of India 's leading academic institutions in the fields of economic and social development. Established in 1958, its faculty of about 23 social scientists (economists, demographers and sociologists) and a large body of supporting research staff focus on emerging and often cutting-edge areas of social and policy concern.
