Educational Qualification:
Deputy Librarian:
1. Ph.D in Library/ Information Science.
2. Master Degree in Library Science/ Information Sciences/ Documentation Science with 55% and above marks in aggregate.
3. Five years Experience as Senior Assitant Librarian in Level 11 (PB3 with AGP 7000/-) in a large Library of reputed Research Institute/ College.
4. Working Experience in formulating and administering policies, rules and regulation, preparation of annual budget of the library, Planning and Management of Information Technology applications in the library,
5. Expereience related to selection, acquisition, classification, cataloguing and maintenance of the library documents, facilitating various library services such as CAS, SDI, Reference, ILL etc. Developing short and long term plans for the library and related goals and objectives consistent with the library's mission.
Assistant Librarian:
1. A Master's Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
3. Five years of minimum experience as Library Assistant or equivalent position in a large Library of reputed Research Institute/ College.

15600-39100/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 45 Years.
