Technical Assistant, Technician

Number of Vacancy: 09 Posts

Educational Qualification:
Technical Assistant: B.Sc. Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry, with minimum 60% marks and one year experience in Crop Production / Agronomy / Plantation crops from a recognized Institute/ Organisation. OR Diploma in Farm Management/Crop Management of at least 3 year’s full time duration, with minimum 60% marks and 02 year’s experience in relevant area.

Technician: SSC / 10th Standard / SSC or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or national / state trade certificate in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Soil Testing OR SSC / 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 2 years full time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized institution in the relevant trade of Agriculture/ Horticulture OR SSC / 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 3 years of work experience in the relevant trade of Agriculture/Horticulture in a Ministry /Department/ Organisation/ Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Body under Government of India / State / UT.

19900-35400/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 28 Years.

Selection Procedure:
1. The candidates as recommended by the Screening Committee will be invited for a Trade test in the relevant area. Those who qualify in the Trade test will be invited for a competitive OMR/ Computer based objective type multiple choice examination, which will consist of three papers viz. Paper-I, II & III. Paper-I will be qualifying in nature. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper-II & III.
2. Paper-II & III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in Paper-I.

Application Fee:
General / OBC / EWS category - Rs.500/- [Rupees five hundred only].
The candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Women/ PwBD/ Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of application fee as per rules.
