CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (CSIR IHBT) has invited applications for the recruitment of Project Associate PAT-II and Project Assistant-II (PA-II) on a temporary basis. Interested candidates having M.Sc or B.Sc qualifications can attend the walk-in interview scheduled on 09 January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Project Associate PAT-II (Post Code 18001)

• Essential: M.Sc. in Horticulture/Agriculture/Biological Sciences from a recognized university with 02 years of research experience.
• Desirable: Two years research experience in floricultural crops evidenced by research publications.

Eligibility for Project Assistant-II (PA-II) (Post Code 18002)

• Essential: B.Sc. from a recognized university.
• Desirable: Working knowledge of computers, project data handling, conducting educational visits, outreach activities in schools.

Salary / Stipend

• Project Associate PAT-II: Rs. 35,000/- + HRA per month for candidates qualified in CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET (including lectureship/assistant professorship) or GATE or National level exams (DBT/DST). Rs. 28,000/- + HRA per month for other candidates.
• Project Assistant-II (PA-II): Rs. 20,000/- + HRA per month.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a Walk-in-Interview. The Selection Committee may also conduct an objective test (MCQ) followed by an interview on the same day. Candidates must report by 10:00 AM.
