Applications are invited for filling up of the following vacant posts of Institute of Hotel Management, Kolkata:

1. Post Name: Hindi Translator (Contractual)

2. No of Posts: 01

3. Scale of Pay: Rs.25,000/- (consolidated)

4. Scope of Work: 

a) Translation of various documents from English to Hindi vice versa.

b) Prepare Timahi Reports of Rajbhasha

c) Assist in progress of Hindi as per Rules of Rajbhasha.

d) All Rajbhasha related job.

e) Any other work as given by the Principal

5. Educational and other Qualifications for direct recruits:

i. Candidates should complete their Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory subject from a recognized University. OR The aspirants should complete Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as compulsory or elective subject or as the examination medium.

ii. OR The applicants should complete Master’s Degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.

iii. OR The applicants should complete Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.

iv. OR Recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa

6. Experience:

The aspirants should have two years’ experience as a translator from Hindi to English and vice versa in State Government or Central Government Office including the Government of India undertaking. Candidates having knowledge of Hindi Typing (speed preferably 35 w.p.m) will be given preference.
