The Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSc), Chennai is a National Institute of higher learning which fosters high quality fundamental research in frontier disciplines of Mathematical Sciences. IMSc has intensive teaching programme for award of M.Sc (by Research) and Ph.D. Degree

3. Minimum Qualifications: Candidate should have
a) M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech in a quantitative field.
b) should be less than 35 years in age on last date of receipt of application.
4. Desirable: Experience in scientific programming/machine learning/ algorithm design. This project involves developing novel methods to analyze large datasets, primarily in the healthcare domain.Bachelor’s degree in any field.Experience in medical data entry

Selection Procedure
1. Only those candidates who are meeting the minimum qualification & experience mentioned in the advertisement will be eligible to appear for Written test. Hence screened list of candidates will be displayed by us after verifying their candidature on the “opportunities” “other positions” page of the Institute website [www.imsc.res.in] by 1700 hrs on 08/02/2022.
2. Apart from displaying the short list of the candidates on our website, interview date will be intimated separately.
