Educational Qualification: Accounts Officer: (i) A pass in Subordinate Accounts Service or Section Officers Grade or Junior Accounts Officer Grade examination conducted by the Central Government. OR (ii) Training in Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management and experience in cash, accounts and budget work. Senior Accounts Officer: i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university; and ii) A pass in Subordinate Accounts Service examination or Section Officers Grade examination or Junior Accounts Officer Grade examination conducted by the central Government; Or Training in Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management or equivalent and five years’ experience in cash, accounts and budget work. Accountant: (i) A pass in Subordinate Accounts Service or equivalent examination conducted by the organized Accounts department of the Central Government. (ii) Training in Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management and three years’ experience in cash, accounts and budget work.
