Educational Qualification:
Additional Deputy Director/Executive: Candidates Should have Degree with 12 years’ experience (7 in intelligence work).
Joint Deputy Director/Executive: Candidates Should have Degree with 10 years’ experience (5 in intelligence work).
Assistant Director/Executive: Candidates Should have Degree with 7 years’ experience (3 in intelligence work).
Senior Accounts Officer: Candidates Should have Degree with Subordinate Accounts Service exam or training and 5 years’ experience.
Pay Scale:
INR
67,700-2,15,900/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 56 Years.

The Intelligence Bureau (IB) is India’s domestic internal security and counter-intelligence agency. Established in 1887, it is regarded as the oldest intelligence agency in the world. Working under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, the IB is primarily tasked with gathering intelligence within the country, countering terrorism, monitoring potential threats, and providing inputs on internal and external security matters.
