Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the following post under the DST-funded multi-centric research project “Effectiveness of pranayama and yoga-based interventions on the well-being of healthcare professionals” conducted in the Department of Psychiatry, JIPMER

1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow

2. No. of Post: One (Temporary)

3. Essential Qualifications: B.Sc (Nursing) / M.B.B.S. / M.P.H. / M.Sc. (Yoga)

4. Desirable: Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) Good Clinical Practice training and certification Verbal fluency in English to interview participants in-person or telephonically Experience in research projects in yoga and / or in psychological assessments Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint for making data entry / presentations and creating Google Forms Candidate who will be able to join on or before 10-04-2022

5. Nature of duties: To recruit participants into the study, to do initial (baseline assessments) To co-ordinate the participants interventions, follow-up sessions as per protocol To do follow-up assessments for participants as per protocol schedule To maintain records of the participants data sheets and consent forms

6. Location: Pondicherry, (may involve travel to Bangalore)

7. Salary: ₹ 31,000 per month (+16% HRA)

8. Duration of the project: Five months. Initial appointment will be for a period of 2 months and extension will be given every three months as per performance of candidate and the project progress

Selection Procedure

(ii) Panel of candidates will be shortlisted, after screening the resume followed byinterview (hybrid online or in person).

(iii) Candidates merit list will be put up and Wait-listed candidates will be called in case future vacancy arises in the project and as per requirement.

(iv) Interview details will be communicated to shortlisted candidates through return email. Hence valid email id and mobile number is compulsory for this purpose.
