Educational Qualification:
Professor:
(a) A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act).
(b) A postgraduate qualification i.e., M.D. in Microbiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. Experience: Fourteen years’ teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Microbiology after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Microbiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Assistant Professor: Same as Professor.

Pay Scale:
INR
56100/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 58 Years.

Selection Procedure: In case a huge number of applications are received for any discipline, then either a written exam may be conducted for shortlisting the candidates (or) the Standing Selection Committee may shortlist candidates for the interview. The decision of the competent authority at JIPMER will be final.
