A total of 5 vacancies are available across different project posts under the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine, JIPMER. The post-wise breakdown is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Eligibility varies by post. Candidates must hold the minimum educational qualification specified below from a recognized university or institution:

• Project Research Scientist I (Non-medical): Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) from a recognized University/Institution.
• Project Technical Support III (MSW): Postgraduate degree in Social Work or Sociology or any other relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Scientist B: PhD in Life Sciences from a recognized University.
• Program Manager: M.Sc. in Life Sciences / Public Health / Health Sciences / Management or a related research discipline from a recognized University, with a minimum of 6 years of research experience in project coordination/management, including at least 3 years of experience in TB research.
• Project Technical Officer: Three-year Graduate degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university with 3 years of work experience in the relevant field.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection process for all five posts comprises the following stages:

1. Written Test – Screening written examination to shortlist candidates.
2. Skill Test – Assessment of post-specific technical/professional skills.
3. Interview – Final selection interview. If the number of shortlisted candidates is small, a direct interview may be conducted without a written/skill test at the discretion of the selection committee.

Interviews may be conducted in person or via videoconferencing at the discretion of the Principal Investigator. Candidates are advised to check their registered email regularly for updates.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test, skill test, or interview.
