Educational Qualification: ITI

Applications are invited for the Lab Attendant post on purely temporary basis in a ICMR funded project entitled “Gene functional analysis and development of Live attenuated vaccine candidates of leishmania parasites against leishmaniasis using CRISPR cas9 approach” (GIA/2/VBD/2021/ECD-II) in the laboratory of undersigned. The project duration is for three years. The desired qualifications and emoluments are as follows:

1. Post Name: Lab Attendant

2. Essential qualifications:

High school* or equivalent with one year experience in relevant field from a Government institution or recognized institute or certificate of one year training in the relevant area or ITI or National Trade certificate of National Council for Vocational Training and successful completion of ATS in relevant trade from a Government recognized board.

3. Desirable qualifications: Prior experience in molecular biology / immunology / animal tissue culture lab and small animal care and maintenance will be preferred.

4. Emoluments: As per the norms of the funding agency [15,800/-P.M (Corresponding to PB-l Rs.5200-20200+Grade pay Rs.1800) (10% increase every year)]

5. Tenure: The position is purely temporary, and may continue until early 2025 (the end of project) based on satisfactory performance.
