Educational Qualification: M.A
Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate for the project titled ‘Life History and Speeches of Jaipal Singh Munda in Constitutional Committees and Parliament’. This project is funded by the Dr Ram Dayal Munda Tribal Welfare Research Institute.
1.Post Name : Research Associate
2. Essential Qualifications:
a) M.A. in Modern Indian History
b) Ability to read and write in Hindi and English and ability to translate from Hindi to English
3. Desirable Qualifications:
a) Ph.D on any theme related to adivasi histories
b) Has a preliminary knowledge of the stated theme of research
c) Familiarity with one or more adivasi languages in Jharkhand
d) Has the experience of working in the archives
4. Emoluments: Rs 12,000 per month. The candidate must be based in Delhi. Travel Allowance and Dearness Allowance (TA and DA) will be provided during fieldwork in Ranchi, Patna and Kolkata where the candidate would need to stay during archival research.
5. Nature of appointment: Temporary and for five months only.

Selection Procedure
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the selection committee will interview the candidates via online mode. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated through e-mail to appear for the online interview.
