Applications are invited for the post of One Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the following SERB-DST sponsored project as per the details given below:

1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

2. No of Post: 01

3. Project Title: "Green Synthesis and Enhanced Thermoelectric Performance through Electronic Structure Modification".

4. Duration: The project is valid for a period three years (2022-2025). The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis initially for a period of one year but likely to be extended depending on the performance, requirement and project validity, whichever is earliest. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates called for interview.

5. Emoluments: JRF: Rs 31,000/- per month (plus HRA) * After two years as SRF: 35,000/per month (plus HRA)

6. Essential Qualifications: JRF: Post Graduate Degree in Physics / Physical Sciences / Materials Science OR Graduate degree in professional courses with GATE qualified. Preference will be given to CSIR / UGC/ JRF/NET qualified candidates or any other equivalent National level exam conducted by Govt. agencies like MHRD, DST, CSIR, DAE, DRDO, IITs, IISc etc. However, Non- NET/non-GATE qualified candidates can also apply.

7. Job Description: JRF - The project involves synthesis and characterization of thermoelectric nanomaterials and testing of their thermoelectric performance for possible applications.

Pay Scale: INR 31000(Per Month)
