JIIT Invites Application for Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited for the post of One Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the following SERB-DST sponsored project as per the details given below:

1. Post Name : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

2. No of post : 01

3. Project title: Exploring tunable electromagnetic induced transparency effect using exotic materials in terahertz metamaterials

4. Duration: The project is valid for a period three years (2022-2025). The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis initially for a period of one year but likely to be extended depending on the performance, requirement and project validity, whichever is earliest. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates called for interview

5. Emoluments: JRF: Rs 31,000/- per month (plus HRA)

6. Essential Qualifications: JRF: Post Graduate Degree in Physics / Physical Sciences / Materials Science OR Graduate degree in professional courses with GATE qualified. Preference will be given to CSIR / UGC/ JRF/NET qualified candidates or any other equivalent National level exam conducted by Govt. agencies like MHRD, DST, CSIR, DAE, DRDO, IITs, IISc etc. However, Non- NET/non-GATE qualified candidates can also apply.

7. Job Description: JRF - The project involves Exploring tunable electromagnetic induced transparency effect using exotic materials in terahertz metamaterials and it is to be carried out at the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida under supervision of Dr. Anuraj Panwar and at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati under supervision of Dr. Gagan Kumar.
