Applications are invited for the posts of Research Associate (RA) in a DST funded projects entitled, “Designing of Devices and Protocols for Quantum Hacking and Random Number Generation” at the Department of Physics & Materials Science & Engineering, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida. It may be noted that the project has theoretical as well as experimental components. The detail of the project is given below. 1. Positions: Research Associate (RA) 2. No of Post: 01 3. Field of the project: Quantum cryptography 4. Duration: 18 months (may be continued) 5. Eligibility: PhD in Physics/Applied Mathematics/Computer Science with published works in the field of quantum information. Those who have submitted their thesis and are expecting to obtain degree within a month may also apply. Knowledge of the field and earlier work experience will play important role in the selection. Applicants having experience of performing experimental quantum optics/nonlinear optics or optical quantum information will be given preference. 6. Fellowship: As per the norms of Govt. of India
