4. Minimum Qualification And Experience 

a. Professor

i) PhD Guidance – 2 Nos ( 1 No as Sole Supervisor or 2 Nos with Joint Supervision)

ii) 5 Years as Associate Professor / 12 Years Total Experience

iii) 5 Research Papers (as 1st or 2nd or corresponding author excluding PhD Scholar

iv) Project of minimum Rs 30 lac for Bio / PMSE / Maths and Rs 15 Lac for other Depts – completed /running or Three SCI / SCIE / SSCI / SCOPUS research papers (Additional papers, as 1st or 2 nd Author excluding PhD Scholar) 

v) University / Department level Adm activities

b. Associate Professor

i) PhD Guidance – 1 No (May be submitted)

ii) 4 Years as Asst Prof. Sr. Grade / 8 Years Total Experience

iii) 4 Research Papers (as 1st or 2nd or corresponding Author excluding PhD Scholar) 

iv) Project of minimum Rs 20 Lac for Bio / PMS / Maths and Rs 10 Lac for other Depts – completed /running or Two SCI / SCIE / SSCI / SCOPUS (As 1st or 2nd author excluding PhD Scholar) 

v) Departmental / University level activities 

c. Asst. Prof. Sr. Grade SCIENCE 

i) 4 Yrs Experience after PhD Degree of Teaching / Research at University level

ii) 3 Quality Research Papers

iii) Departmental / University level activities

d. ENGINEERING

i) 2 Yrs Experience after PhD Degree of Teaching / Research at University level

ii) 3 Quality Research Papers

iii) Departmental / University level activities 

6. For Engineering & Technology and Management

a. Assistant Professor (Grade – I) i) M.Tech / MBA or equivalent with first division and throughout and good academic record.

b. Assistant Professor (Grade – II)

i) M.Tech / MBA or equivalent with first division and throughout a good academic record + 2 years experience of teaching at the University level or

II) M.Tech / MBA or equivalent with first division and throughout a good academic record + 1 year experience at the University level provided at least 2 years prior experience elsewhere

7. For Sciences, Humanities and Social Science, Biotechnology, Pharmacy and For the Faculty in Management of Non MBA Stream 

Assistant Professor (Grade – I) i) PhD with first division in preceding degree and throughout a good academic record.

Assistant Professor (Grade – II) 

i) PhD with first division in preceding degree and throughout a good academic record + 2 years experience at the University level after PhD and after becoming Assistant Professor (Grade -1)

ii) Active researcher and published at least 2 quality research papers at Assistant Professor (Grade-1) level after PhD Degree
