Kannur University Invites Application for Junior Research Fellow/ Research Fellow Recruitment 2022

Walk-in-interview will be held in Department of Zoology, Kannur University, Mananthavady campus- 670645 on 25th February, 2022 at 11.00 AM onwards for the position of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Research fellow in the following research project purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project period or till completion of eligible period. Interested and eligible candidates are requested to attend the walk-in-interview with all the necessary documents.

1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow/Research fellow (One)

2. Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Zoology/Applied Zoology

3. Desirable Qualifications: Field experience in behavioral ecology of arboreal mammals Spoken knowledge of Malayalam Proficiency with excel

4. Title of the Project: Land change impacts on primate diversity and the spread of Kyasanur Forest Disease (KFD)in Kerala, Western Ghats

5. Duration of the Project: 2 Years (24 Months)

6. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- per month for two years
